For my notification system, I need something simpler that is not a huge pain
to type, perhaps a helper which provides many methods for such things.

Perhaps I should split the diagnostic stuff around a bit, instead of a single
class I could separate it into multiple ones of sort. Some may have bits of a
file, others might not.
