# Function: makeBox()

## makeBox()

> **makeBox**(): [`Box`](../classes/Box.md)\<`object`\>

Creates a new Box instance with optional initial values.

### Returns

[`Box`](../classes/Box.md)\<`object`\>

A new Box instance

### Example

```ts
// Empty box
const box = makeBox();

// Box with initial values
const box = makeBox({
  foo: () => 'bar'
});
```
