<p><strong>It is fine for eduroam users to download the software, and to install and use it. If the installer is not a PIN-protected personal installer, then it is also allowed to pass it on

<ul><li><strong>Metadata</strong>. This website makes available technical information which enable the setup of eduroam on
computing devices. This information is called 'Metadata'.

<li><strong>Installers</strong>. This website makes available executable programs and configuration files which
transfer Metadata onto computers and other computing devices. These programs and files are called 'Installers'.
<ul>
<li><strong>Generic Installers</strong>. Installers which are not PIN-protected and which are downloadable directly from the website without the need for personalised invitation links.</li>
<li><strong>Personal Installers</strong>. Installers which are PIN-protected and which can only be downloaded after receiving a personalised invitation link from outside the website.</li>
</ul>
<li><strong>You</strong>. The information is made available to the individuals and organisations who are
downloading the Metadata, hereafter referred to as 'You'.

<li><strong>Terms</strong>. These Terms of Access and Use (these “Terms”) govern the use of the Metadata and Installers. By
accessing or using the Metadata or Installers You accept that the access and use will be on
and subject to these Terms. These Terms will be binding and enforceable on You
as contractual obligations. If You do not accept these Terms, then You must not
continue to use this Metadata.

<li><u>Permitted Use</u><br/>
You may only use the Metadata as follows:
<ul><li>If You are an eduroam user, you are allowed to download the Installer and execute it on
your own systems for the purpose of establishing trusted communications between your systems
and your eduroam Identity Provider. If the downloaded Installer is a Generic Installer, then you are also allowed to share the installer with other users if
they are from the same user group. You are not allowed to share Generic Installers to an unlimited
audience (e.g. on a publicly accessible web server). If the downloaded Installer is a Personal Installer, then no redistribution of any kind is permitted.</li>
<li>If You are an eduroam Identity Provider administrator, you are allowed to download and pass on the Installers to
your own ".\config\ConfAssistant::CONSORTIUM['nomenclature_idp']." end users, e.g. on the support web pages of your ".\config\ConfAssistant::CONSORTIUM['nomenclature_idp'].", on Welcome Package CDs or USB sticks, etc.</li>
<li>If You are a third-party not affiliated with eduroam, you are only allowed to download and pass on
the Metadata and/or the Installers after having received written permission by the eduroam Operations team.</li>
</ul>

<li><u>Compliance with laws</u><br/>
You will hold all necessary licences, authorisations and permissions and comply with all applicable laws in
respect of your activities in connection with the use of the Metadata.

<li><u>Termination</u><br/>
You will immediately remove the Metadata and/or Installers from your systems and destroy all copies of the Metadata and/or Installers upon
notification from us if You are in breach of, or we reasonably suspect you to be in breach of, these Terms,
or if the permission from the eduroam Operations team to make use of the Metadata has been revoked.

<li><u>Liability</u><br/>
Your use of the Metadata and Installers is entirely at your own risk. Without limitation, neither the eduroam Identity Provider who
created this information, nor the operator of this website, are under any obligation to inform You in the event of
any changes to the Metadata and/or Installers.

<li><u>Intellectual Property</u><br/>
Nothing in these Terms gives You any rights in or to the Metadata and Installers other than as expressly set out in these
Terms. Any and all intellectual property rights in the Metadata shall remain owned by the eduroam Identity
Provider.

<li><u>Governing law and jurisdiction</u><br/>
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or
formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with
the laws of England and Wales.<br/>
The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute or claim although we
retain the right to bring proceedings against You for breach of these conditions in your country of residence or
any other relevant country.

The eduroam Operations team may vary these Terms from time to time without notice to You. You are advised to check these
