<p>Heyden naît <time>1907</time>.</p>
<p>Selon Ruppelt: "Le père Hayden was head of the astronomy department at Georgetown University. I never met him but Dr.
Steve Possony was always going to him with our UFO problems. Father Hayden seemed to be very much interested in our
problems and couldn't at all be classed as a scoffer." Ruppelt has misspelled the last name, which is Heyden. En 1945
il quitte l'Observatoire de Manille (Philippines) pour Georgetown et reçoit for outstanding accomplishments and
contributions to the popularization or advancement of the science of astronomy there. En 1948 il prend la direction de
l'Observatoire de Georgetown. </p>
<p>Il est nommé Membre Regular de la <a href="https://www.imaging.org/ist">Société pour l'Imagerie Scientifique et la
Technologie</a> for outstanding achievement in imaging science or engineering en 1967. Besides his keen interest in
UFOs, he also studied the famous Piri Reis ancient maps. He knew astronomer <span class="people">Clyde William Tombaugh</span>
and his famous UFO observation.</p>
<p>Il décède en 1991.</p>
