***DISCLAIMER***: _These notes are from the defunct k8 project which_
_precedes SquirrelJME. The notes for SquirrelJME start on 2016/02/26!_
_The k8 project was effectively a Java SE 8 operating system and as such_
_all of the notes are in the context of that scope. That project is no_
_longer my goal as SquirrelJME is the spiritual successor to it._

## 00:26

Using regular expressions for identifier start and part will end up having a
14K character regular expression, which is far too much for my needs. So I
will have to have an alternative way to decode tokens and such.

## 00:51

Using regular expressions and annotations to describe a language has turned
the definition part of the compiler from something not simple, however the
actual logic which takes all of it in will be simple. I need to do some
renaming and regrouping of the annotations and base clases to clean things up
a bit.

## 01:30

I will split the lex package into a "tok" package for tokenization and pre-
source setup reading stuff. Then there will be "an" which reads those input
tokens and builds a structure. Then after that will be "comp" which will
perform the actual compilation of code.

## 03:22

Language definitions and such will be thrown in "def" adjacent to "lex".

## 15:22

The big thing is naming the classes, what should they be called.
