Ah, the joys of painting your room over night a nice right in the middle shade
of gray. I personally believe it is slate gray, since it is the only gray I
could find which was right there in the middle 50/50. Not too light and not
too dark.

I have been thinking about the k8-debug-gui package. Although a swing
interface is nice and user friendly. It would take some time to develop
when...

Jumped to something else but, It would take time to develop such a GUI when
the main usage of it will be the console. If anything, I should develop last
and perhaps if I ever make an IDE of sorts to make development friendly. The
GUI would also probably lag behind the console version as the console version
has to be written and then the GUI has to use whatever the console version
uses. So the interface is specialized and has to be done twice. At the very
start of my OS development there will be no Swing as I intend to start with
the basic profile first. This would mean command line. However I do not intend
the OS to be command line oriented in the long run. Although there will be one
and if your system is lacking GUI stuff (lighter build perhaps) it can still
be used. I will need some kind of service configuration GUI specially for k8
since Java has none of that stuff. It would have to be like Control Panel or
Preferences (in Palm OS). Then those preferences would also have to easily be
changed on the command line and be just as powerful. That way if you are on a
system (say a server) with no video output you can still configure everything
just as you would with a GUI. Then with some common configuration system new
interfaces such as JavaFX could be used for example.
