***DISCLAIMER***: _These notes are from the defunct k8 project which_
_precedes SquirrelJME. The notes for SquirrelJME start on 2016/02/26!_
_The k8 project was effectively a Java SE 8 operating system and as such_
_all of the notes are in the context of that scope. That project is no_
_longer my goal as SquirrelJME is the spiritual successor to it._

## 11:38

On this Intel Atom which does the whole run in 3 minutes and 8 seconds. This
system is about the same speed as my otherone (just very slightly faster due
to smaller technology). However this system has a JIT while the other does not,
so that is where most of the speed boost comes from. Re-running after a build
from nothing would be slightly better timed to determine how much faster things
are in general. In general the translation times are about 2-3 times faster.
So in total, the speed gain is not that much. The total time to reach where
I am at now (IFEQ not implemented) gives one minute 23 seconds.

## 16:34

Messed up in my blog script by making a horribly named user, going to shun
that commit.

## 17:17

Had to do some shunning and delete a few commits, luckily they only contained
notes. I also had to rebuild and upload those new builds to my backup
locations so the commits I previously made are gone forever. Lots of work.
