Description
------------
The Polls module can be used to display interactive survey forms on your site. Each poll can display a question on which visitors can ‘vote’. This can be a valuable way to collect feedback from your community. Polls can be configured to allow single or multiple choices and visitors can view the ‘results’ to date.

Requirements
------------------

- PHP version:   7.1+
- XOOPS version: 2.5.10+
- MySQL version: 5.5+
- ModuleClasses: 1.2 in /Frameworks

Install/uninstall
------------------
No special measures necessary, follow the standard installation process – extract the /xoopspoll folder into the ../modules directory. Install the module through Admin -> System Module -> Modules.

Operating instructions
------------------------
To set up this module you need to:

i)   Configure your preferences for the module (see ‘Preferences’) and optionally the Poll block if you intend to use it (see ‘Blocks’)

ii)  Enter your poll details – including the question and possible answers

iii) Check that you have given your user groups the necessary module and block access rights to use this module. Group permissions are set through the Administration Menu -> System -> Groups.

Known Issues
------------
The interface code to cbb/newbb has not been updated/completed to allow creating/editing polls from within forums.
