# Minimal requirements
In order to work properly with Brocooly Framework you need to meet following requirements
- **PHP 8.0** or greater
- **[Composer](https://getcomposer.org/)** installed
- Any minimal [requirements](https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/) for **WordPress** installation
- Server document root should point into `web` folder as it is [requirement](https://roots.io/docs/bedrock/master/server-configuration/#nginx-configuration-for-bedrock) for `roots/bedrock` structure
- Optional: [node.js](https://nodejs.org/en/) installed on your machine as assets compiling is handled by webpack
- Optional: [wp-cli](https://wp-cli.org/) command tool
