#### Larger Catechism
<span class="q">Q 11.</span> How doth it appear that the Son and the Holy Ghost are God equal with the Father?
<span class="q">A.</span> The Scriptures manifest that the Son and the Holy Ghost are God equal with the Father, ascribing unto them such names,[^fnref:wlc1] attributes,[^fnref:wlc2] works,[^fnref:wlc3] and worship,[^fnref:wlc4] as are proper to God only.

Send me.”</p> </div><h5>John 12:41</h5> <div class="esv-text"><p class="same-paragraph" id="p43012041.01-4">Isaiah said these things because he saw his glory and spoke of him.</p> </div><h5>Acts 28:25</h5> <div class="esv-text"><p id="p44028025.01-5">And disagreeing among themselves, they departed after Paul had made one statement: “The Holy Spirit was right in saying to your fathers through Isaiah the prophet:</p> </div><h5>1 John 5:20</h5> <div class="esv-text"><p id="p62005020.01-6">And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.</p> </div><h5>Acts 5:3-4</h5> <div class="esv-text"><p id="p44005003.01-7">But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart?
