<span class="q">A.</span> After God had made all other creatures, he created man male and female;[^fnref:wlc1] formed the body of the man of the dust of the ground,[^fnref:wlc2] and the woman of the rib of the man,[^fnref:wlc3] endued them with living, reasonable, and immortal souls;[^fnref:wlc4] made them after his own image,[^fnref:wlc5] in knowledge,[^fnref:wlc6] righteousness, and holiness;[^fnref:wlc7] having the law of God written in their hearts,[^fnref:wlc8] and power to fulfill it,[^fnref:wlc9] and dominion over the creatures;[^fnref:wlc10] yet subject to fall.[^fnref:wlc11]
