# Syncthing REST API bindings for Ruby
This gem provides bindings for [Syncthing](http://syncthing.net/) [REST API](http://docs.syncthing.net/dev/rest.html)
## Installation
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
```ruby
gem 'syncthing'
```
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install syncthing
## Usage
**Parameters**

Make a new instance of SyncthingClinet with API key and url — let's shake!

### get_version
returns current version

### get_connections
Returns current connections

Returns current syncthing config

### get_insync
Returns current insync condition

Returns raised and not cleared errors

Returns local discovery hash

### new_error
Raises a new error with given message. Returns code 200 on success.

### clear_errors
Clears previously rised errors. Returns code 200 on success.

### new_config
Uploads a new config to syncthing server.

### restart!
Will restart syncthing server

### reset!
This means renaming all repository directories to temporary, unique names, wiping all indexes and restarting.
This should probably not be used during normal operations...

### upgrade
Check for the new veersion

Perform an upgrade and restart if new version exists. Does nothing if current version is latest.

Returns current status

### get_ping
Returns a `{"ping":"pong"}` object

### new_ping
Doing exactly the same as `get_ping` but API key is required (for `get_ping` it isn't). However, SyncthingClient is always using it. So, there is no difference between these two methods.
### browse_database

Returns completion in persentage (0-100) for given device and folder
