# Kilobyte
About 1000 bytes.
This is 8,000 individual bits (i.e. 0’s and 1’s).
We say "about" 1000 bytes because the term is ambiguous and it is often taken as 1024 bytes; however, rounding it to 1000 is close enough for most calculations.
Commonly referred to as a "KB".
