# Text

This formfields shows a single or multi-line text input.

## Options

### Placeholder

This text wil be shown when no text is entered.  
This field is translatable.

### Default value

Enter any text that will be inserted when adding a new item.  
This field is translatable.

### Rows

The number of rows of the input.  
Use one for a standard `<input type="text">` or more for a `<textarea>`

### Input mode

Select what kind of text you want the user to insert.  
Can be `Text`, `Telephone`, `Search`, `Email`, `URL` or `None`.

This only works when the `rows` option is `1`!
